What do you consider as traits that make someone a good citizen? A person who is involved with the community, participates in and out of school events, someone who is honest and responsible.

Who has inspired you to be a good citizen and why? My grampy has inspired me a lot in recent years. He has been a big influence on the community and impacted many lives in a positive way, including my own. He has built up a great reputation in the town and I will always look up to him to be more alike.

What have you done to make the school community a better place?I am involved with sports and am president of the Interact Club. This allows me to be able to participate in community events. I also am a CNA and this allows me to make direct contact to be able to better people’s lives!

Why is volunteerism important?Volunteerism is important because it gives opportunities to learn from many different people. It gives people the option to step out of their comfort zone, and allows them to do something from the heart, and not the paycheck.

In the future, what do you see yourself doing to make the world a better place? I see myself as a student counselor, where I can impact children and teenagers every day.
