Q. What is your favorite class and why? My favorite class is Pre-Calculus. It is a challenge but I like challenging myself, and once I understand the feeling of accomplishment, it outweighs the obstacles of getting to the point of understanding.

Q. What is your toughest class and why? My toughest class is Pre-Calculus and Anatomy & Physiology. Pre-Cal is a fairly hard subject to learn, and there are so many concepts to memorize in anatomy that it’s hard to keep track of sometimes.

Q. How do you balance your class work and your extracurricular activities? Time management is crucial in order to balance school work and extracurricular activities. Whenever I have free time, I use it wisely by studying and keeping up on my school work.

Q. What is the biggest challenge high school students face today? I think a big challenge for high school students is learning to be themselves and figuring out who they are. There are influences that may alter choices by trying to “fit in.”

Q. Who has inspired you educationally, and why? Mrs. Fournier was my English and creative writing teacher sophomore year. Junior year, she was my AP Language teacher. She has been a huge supporter for me in all subjects. I know that I have a teacher to turn to for whatever the reason may be. She has always been one to challenge me intellectually in order to become a better writer.
