The stage is set for Lake Region Community Theatre’s 7th Annual Lake Region’s Got Talent.

Over 20 acts auditioned at the beginning of December and all moved to the quarterfinals. LRCT is very excited about the variety and caliber of the acts. The acts have been divided into two quarterfinal groups. The first group of acts performing on Sunday, Jan. 5 include singer Kate Rose (Naples), singer Trinnidy Bradley (Naples), singer Mikayla Tarr (Gray), singer Pamela Sargent (Bridgton), a monologue delivered by Gail Geraghty (Norway), juggler Rick Hagerstrom (Bridgton), singer Dionne Bradley (Naples), singer Lily Dutton (Cape Elizabeth) and singer Payson Avery (Casco).

Performing on Sunday, Jan. 12 are singer Willow Carter (Fryeburg), singer Sydney Mushrow (Bridgton), singer Lila Damon (Bridgton), comedian Noah Richard (Bridgton), singer Haley Cote (Leeds), Alice Boudreau (Raymond), magician Sam Brown (Naples), singer/guitarist Nick Cohen (Gray) and singer Zoë Daigle (Chatham, N.H.).

All acts will be performing at Lake Region High Schoo in Naples. Performances begin at 2 p.m. quarterfinalists will be judged by a panel of judges and those moving on to the semifinals will be announced after the Jan. 12 quarterfinals. All tickets for the quarterfinals are $5 (children under age 5 are free). 

The semifinal is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 19 and the finals on Sunday, Jan. 26 when the audience will be part of the judging. Tickets for those performances are $5 for children ages 6-12, $7 for students and seniors, and $10 for adults. Children under age 5 are free and are non-voters. All tickets may be purchased at the door.

LRCT hopes the public will attend and support these talented performers as they compete. 

Prizes: first place $500, second place $300 and third place $200.
