Paul Kasprak Jr., 65

Paul Kasprak Jr., 65, of Fryeburg passed away on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019.

Paul was born in Bridgeport, Conn., to Paul and Mary (Reut) Kasprak.

Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, an avid motorcyclist, pilot and traveler. He married Catherine Jean Thomas in July of 1979. They had two children and many pets over the years. Paul served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War as an Environmental Specialist. Paul was a strong believer in civic duty and was a volunteer firefighter and EMT in the various areas that he lived. When his children were growing up he taught bicycle safety to children and shared his passion for motorcycles by teaching motorcycle safety to adults. Paul started as a portrait photographer and worked at the Yale University Beinecke Library with rare books and documents, and eventually went into computer sciences.

Paul is survived by his wife, Catherine Jean (Thomas) Kasprak of Fryeburg; his daughter, Kara Thibodeau of Edgartown, Mass.; a son, Aaron Kasprak of Marietta, Ga.; two grandchildren; his brother, Alex Kasprak; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.
