Lori Vacchiano

SEBAGO — Lori Ann Vacchiano, 53, of Sebago, died on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, with loving family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Bangor, on July 25, 1965, a daughter of David and Josephine (Lord) Brown. She moved a lot and was educated in several schools through the years growing up in a military family. She graduated from Lake Region High School in 1984, and married Stephen J. Vacchiano on April 12, 1986.

Lori worked as a C.N.A. in Fryeburg for a few years. She then worked many years for the family business, 4 Seasons Variety in Sebago. Most recently, she worked many years at Neuro-Restorative in Sebago, the last several years as manager. She had many hobbies but none more important to her than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Stephen Vacchiano of Sebago; her parents, David and Josephine Brown of Sebago; two sons, Michael Vacchiano of Sebago and Anthony Vacchiano of Sebago; two sisters, Debbie Mullins of Bridgton and Pam Kimbrough of Farmington, N.H.; two brothers, David Brown of Sebago and Jim Brown of Bridgton; four grandchildren, several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours were on Saturday, May 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. immediately followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. at the Poitras, Neal & York Funeral Home, 71 Maple Street, Cornish.
