NORTH SEBAGO — Geneva A. Anderson, 88, of North Sebago, passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, at the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn from complications of a stroke. 

She was born in Hiram on May 7, 1933, as Geneva Alice McLaughlin, daughter of Lewis McLaughlin and Grace Harding McLaughlin.

She was educated at Mt. Cutler and Potter Academy schools. During her younger years, she was a maid for the Laughing Loon Lodge in North Sebago and was a waitress at The Lake View Farm, also in Sebago.

She often attended The Assemblies of God Church in her younger life and always had her faith to guide her through. 

After her graduation from Potter Academy, she married Raymond Anderson of North Sebago and together raised three boys and one daughter. 

Geneva loved the Lord and enjoyed her family. She was looking forward for the hope of someday seeing Cindy, her precious daughter that she lost back in 1987. 

She is survived by a sister Ruth Shaw of East Sebago; sons Jeffery Anderson of The Villages, Fla., Timothy Anderson of North Sebago and Michael Anderson of North Sebago; two granddaughters and a grandson; and seven great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by a sister, Mabel Rounds; husband, Raymond E. Anderson; and her daughter, Cindy Jo Anderson Williams.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, Sept. 2 at Lakeside Cemetery, Kimball Corner Road, in Sebago.
