David Grover

David A. Grover, 59, of Bridgton, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

He was born on Feb. 15, 1962, in Bridgton, a son of Donald and Shirley (Seamon) Grover. He attended local schools and immediately went to work locally in the shoe shop for 26 years.

He worked for a short time at the Bridgton Transfer Station before going to work for the local NAPA in Bridgton and had been a faithful employee for 15 years making many friends.

David was a true outdoorsman and couldn’t spend enough time on the water or in the woods hunting and fishing. He was a member of the NRA and also enjoyed playing darts, putting countless miles on his motorcycle and bird watching.

David is survived by his wife, Donna (Skillings) of Bridgton, whom he married on Mar. 14, 1986; his daughter, Denise Cyr, her husband, Jeromy of Chelsea and their children, Kole and Dominic; stepdaughter, Shantell Capone, her companion, Pat Walsh and their son, Derrick of Jackson, N.H.; stepson, Travis Vaughn of Naples; a brother, Donald Grover and his wife, Grace of Norway; Godson, Tucker Warren of Alfred; nieces, nephews, and many great friends.

He was predeceased by his parents; siblings, Virginia Mitchell and Linda Thompson.

A time of memorial visitation and celebration of David’s life will be held from 4-6 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, at the Hall Funeral Home in Casco. Tributes may be shared with David’s family and friends at www.hallfuneralhome.net.
