Alfred L. Crocker III
FARMINGTON — Alfred L. “Tim” Crocker III, 79, formerly of Lincoln, died Wednesday at the Woodlands in Farmington.
He was born in Bridgton, September 13, 1942, the son of Lawrence and Gladys Haley Crocker. In 1963 he was a contractor for the U.S. Navy, as an electrician on submarines in Groton, Conn. He worked for 43 years for Hannaford as a skilled butcher.
Tim was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lincoln. He was a Maine Guide, very skilled at hunting and fishing.
He married Shirley Collins July 7, 1962, they lived in Lee from 1963 until moving to Lincoln in 1985. Shirley died August 22, 2020.
Survivors include two sons, Timothy Scott and Stephen Kislus; a daughter, Jacqueline Fitzwater and her husband Bradley; grandchildren Samantha Bond and her husband Daniel, and Devon Crocker and partner Cynthia Hogencamp; his only great-grandchild William Bond; a brother, Stan Crocker and his wife Sheila; sister Laureen Rideout; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday, March 21, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bridgton. Interment will be later in the spring at the North Bridgton Cemetery.
