Player of the Week: Victoria Girardin

Victoria Girardin

Victoria Girardin

Victoria Girardin has worked extremely hard to prepare herself for this varsity softball season.

“She stands out as one of the best all-round athletes and players on this year’s team,” Lake Region Coach J.R. Warren said. “Tori was selected as a captain by her teammates because of her outstanding effort, attitude and enthusiasm. Her hard work and dedication has earned her the starting center fielder position. Tori also is the lead-off hitter in our lineup. Great job!”

In recognition of her strong work ethic, determination, commitment and good sportsmanship, Victoria is this week’s Boosters and Hancock Lumber “Player of the Week.” Each week, a Lake Region athlete is recognized for his/her dedication (does more than what is asked), work ethic, coachability and academic good standing. Recipients receive a specially-designed t-shirt, sponsored by Hancock Lumber.
