William R. LeLievre, 83

BRADENTON, FLA. — William R. LeLievre, 83, formerly of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015, in Bradenton, Fla., surrounded by his family.

Bill was born on March 15, 1931 in Waltham, Mass., to the late Joseph and Marion Lever. He attended St. Mary's High School, before joining the Army in 1951. He graduated from Army Security Agency School at Fort Devens, and served four years in the military. He then served 25 years with the Waltham Fire Department. Bill was known for his sense of humor, great affection for animals, and love for his family.

Bill is survived by wife, Theresa, and six children, Katherine Aufeiro, Deborah Gray, William Jr., Thomas, Christopher and Leanne Dubie. He is also survived by his brothers, Donald and Francis; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings, Dorothy Lassman and Edward.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at 11 a.m., at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Mass. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the MSPCA, 293 Second Ave., Waltham, MA 02451.
