CASCO ­— Willard Warren Rice Jr., 63, of Casco passed away on Nov. 21, 2012 at Maine General in Augusta following a courageous battle with acute melanoid leukemia.

Billy was born on Nov. 17, 1949 in Portland, the son of Willard Warren Rice and Evelyn Mary (Buotte) Rice Brockett. He attended schools in Portland and Boston, Mass.

He married Margaret Long in 1974 and had two daughters, Joanne Lynn Rice and Donna Marie Rice. He then went on to have another daughter, Lisa Marie Olsen with Tracy Olsen-Curran. He loved and adored his daughters, family and girlfriend and soul mate, Betty Willett.

He was predeceased by his father and mother; and sisters Jean G. Chisson and Judy A. Rich.

He is survived by his daughters, Joanne Lynn Rice, Donna Marie Rice and Lisa Marie Olsen; sister Virginia A. Whittier; girlfriend Betty Willett; seven grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at Evergreen Chapel in Evergreen Cemetery, 672 Stevens Avenue, in Portland. Interment will follow in Forest City Cemetery, 232 Lincoln Street, in South Portland. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
