Wilfred L. Langevin

PORT ST. LUCIE, FLA. — Wilfred Louis Langevin, 74, died Sept. 7, 2011 in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

Mr. Langevin was born in Lynn, Mass. and moved to Port St. Lucie in 2001, coming from Bridgton.

He was a 50-year member of Charles C. Dame Lodge AF & AM, Georgetown, Mass., 32nd Degree Mason, member of the Amara Shrine, past Patron of Victory Chapter #157 OES Eastern Star and a member of the St. Lucie County Shrine Club. He was a graduate of Northeastern University and had a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Engineering Management. He spent 36 years in manufacturing with United Shoe Machinery Corporation in Massachusetts.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Joanne Langevin of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; sons, David Langevin of Bridgton, Scott Langevin of Ipswitch, Mass. and Peter Langevin of Somerville, Mass.; brother, Paul Langevin of Beverly Hills, Fla.; and one granddaughter.
