Wesley J. Rolfe, 76, of Bridgton, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at the Bridgton Hospital.

He was born on Feb. 27, 1940, in Naples, a son of Jordan W. and Julia P. (Chandler) Rolfe, and attended local schools.

Wes loved working in the out-of-doors and tinkering on whatever he could get his hands on. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be missed for his wonderful sense of humor.

He is survived by siblings, Nancy Ridlon of Bridgton, Elva Fowler of Conway, N.H., Arlene Barbour of Albany, N.H., Linda Hamm of Rutland, Mass., Clara Thompson and her husband, David of Derry, N.H., and Michael Rolfe and his wife, Bonnie of Otisfield; and brother-in-law, Clayton Brown of Sebago. He was predeceased by sisters Gloria Brown and Pheobe Stuart; brothers-in-law, Tom Barbour, Kenneth Fowler and Kenneth Stuart.
