Wendy A. Day

NAPLES — Wendy Ann Day, 38, lost her longtime battle with multiple sclerosis and died peacefully at her home in Naples on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, surrounded by people who loved her.

Wendy was born on Feb. 21, 1973 at Bridgton Hospital to Wayne Denbow and Linda Katherine Brymer. She spent most of her vibrant life living in Naples. In her youth, Wendy was exuberant, free-spirited and full of love for life. She was a beautiful gymnast and dancer, spending as much time as possible swimming at the beach, listening to music like Aerosmith and AC/DC, and attending concerts. She was always surrounded by friends and went searching for fun everywhere she went.

Wendy graduated from Lake Region High School in 1991 and followed many career paths, including house cleaning, waitressing and secretarial work, along with being a full-time young mother. She influenced everyone around her and changed the lives of the people who knew her. She always had a smile on her face and made others laugh with her spunky attitude, great sense of humor and rebellious, free-spirited nature. Wendy was incredibly strong and brave, battling her disease and inspiring the people around her with her kind heart and beautiful soul.

Wendy is survived by her father, Wayne Denbow of Norway; her fiancé, Lino “Tito” Gonzalez; her beloved daughter, Brittany Denbow, who was her greatest pride and joy, of Naples; her brother, Dale Denbow, of Atlanta, Ga.; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Wendy was predeceased by her mother, Linda Katherine Brymer in 2004.
