MORO PLANTATION — Timothy W. Allen, 63, died suddenly at his home on Dec. 19, 2010.
He was born in Portland, the son of Vernon and Mabel Allen Charles. He grew up in Westbrook, attending Westbrook schools. Following his service in the Armed Forces in Vietnam, he worked for many years for S.D. Warren, until he moved north to enjoy the peacefulness of the country where he could fish and hunt.
He is survived by his sons Todd Allen of Crafton, W.Va. and Timothy Allen Jr. of Parkersburg, W.Va.; his adopted sons, Scott of Houlton, Chuck of Gray, and Chad of New York; two grandchildren; brothers Adrian Allen of Chester and Bruce Charles of Moro Plantation; sister Terry Gagnon of Denmark; and several nieces and nephews.
Tim requested no services. Family and friends will gather in the summer to celebrate his life.
