Timothy R. Proctor

Timothy R. Proctor, age 56, passed away April 30, 2012 in Kissimmee, Florida from complications due to surgery. He was born on May 3, 1955. Tim was the son of Lawrence F. Proctor and the late Florence (Burtsell) Proctor of Casco, Maine.

Tim was a graduate of Lake Region High School in Naples, Class of 1974. Prior to his moving to Florida, Tim was employed several years with Hancock Lumber. In Florida, he worked as an electrician for many years and for the last seven years prior to his surgery was employed with Prime Construction, Orlando, Florida, as a heavy equipment operator/truck driver.

When not working, Tim loved spending time at home with his family. He always loved and cherished the times he was able to spend with his daughter Maranda and his granddaughter Brionna Florence, who were the princesses in his life. He was an avid NASCAR fan, always supporting his favorite driver Mark Martin #55. Tim always looked forward to coming home to Maine to visit family and playing golf with his brother Larry and Uncle Teddy.

In addition to his father, Tim is survived by his loving and caring wife Jacalyn (Morrison) Proctor, his daughter Maranda Proctor, granddaughter Brionna Florence and stepson Jason Seal, all of Kissimmee, Florida; stepson Jimmy Seal, and step-granddaughter Jonnaka, of West Poland, Maine. Other family members include two brothers, Lawrence “Larry” Proctor Jr. of Bonita Springs, Florida and Scott Proctor and his wife Susan of Casco; three sisters, Pamela Spearrin, of Casco, Shirley Labonte and her husband Robert of Milford, New Hampshire, and Delores Desrosier and her husband Stanley of Roosevelt, Minnesota. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Green Grove Cemetery, Rt. 11, Casco, Maine.

All are invited to join the family at a bereavement luncheon immediately following the services at the American Legion Post 155 (lower level), Rt. 11, Naples, Maine. Evening entertainment at the American Legion Post 155 that night, from 7 p.m. to midnight, will be provided by Larry (DJ “Doc”) Proctor in memory of Tim. Everyone is welcome.
