Theodore Bosworth, 66

NAPLES — Theodore (Ted) Bosworth, 66, of Naples, died unexpectedly Friday morning, Dec. 21, 2012 in his home.

His friends and family remember him as a man who loved his family above all else. He worked hard throughout his entire life to provide for them.

Ted was a great skier and loved to ride his motorcycle. He was a member of the Professional Ski Patrol Association and was never happier than carving turns at Sugarloaf or exploring rural roads on his Harley with his wife and best friend, Ejay.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Ted served in Karlsruhe, Germany and in Bong-Song, Vietnam. After returning from the war, he earned his degree at the University of Southern Maine and went on to work construction for most of his life. From 1978–1980, he was a selectman in Naples. His co-workers and the community knew him as a man who worked hard and worked long hours.

After retiring in 2010, Ted loved to Skype with his grandchildren in Colorado, visit his daughter in Bethel, see his son and his family, share jokes and stories and relax in his own backyard.

He is survived by his wife, Ejay; three children, Todd, Cortney and Elizabeth; three brothers, Douglas, Leslie and John; sister, Dail; and five grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Hall Funeral Home, 165 Quaker Ridge Road, Casco, where a celebration of Ted’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday. Online condolences may be left for the family at hallfuneralhomeinc.com.
