HARRISON — Theodora E. Woodman, 95, of Harrison, formerly of Windham, died peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2017, surrounded by family. She was born on Dec. 9, 1921, a daughter of Joseph and Delina (Perreault) Cruise.

She was married to Ernest Woodman Jr. for 53 years before his passing in 1994. A devoted wife and mother, she was a loving caretaker for all the members of her family. She enjoyed reading, rug-hooking, gardening and canning. She also enjoyed traveling, especially with the senior citizen group of Windham, and being out in the sunshine. Theodora will be remembered as the sweetest person you would ever meet.

She is survived by her children, Clifton Woodman of Bay Minette, Ala., David Woodman of Mapleville, R.I., and Nancy Marois of Harrison; a brother, Henry Cruise of Clearwater, Fla.; eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Woodman Jr.; brothers, James Cruise and Michael Cruise, and a sister, Jeanette Rocheford.

Relatives and friends were invited to a memorial service on Sunday, April 23 at 4 p.m., at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Rd., Windham. A period of visitation was held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. prior to the service. To express condolences visit www.dolbyfuneralchapels.com/
