NAPLES — Suzanne (Bentley) Nicolo, 73, of Naples, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 31, 2014 surrounded by family, after a brief illness. Many dear friends in lands far and near mourn her loss.

She was the proud daughter of the late John and Phyllis Bentley of Gray; loving wife of 49 years of Richard M. Nicolo; devoted mother of Mark R. Nicolo of Big Sky, Mont. and Jeffrey B. Nicolo of Scituate, Mass.; adored Grammie to three grandchildren; dear sister to John Bentley Jr.; and beloved aunt. She is also survived by many loving cousins, friends, former colleagues and students from a 24-year career as a teacher at Beverly High School.

Suzanne loved literature, the arts, good food and world travel, always curious to learn new things and meet new people.

A memorial service will be held in Suzanne’s honor on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 11 a.m., at First Church in Wenham, 1 Arbor St., Wenham, Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McLaughlin Garden & Homestead in South Paris.
