WINDHAM — Shirley M. Parker Gray, 85, of Windham, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.

She was born in Dover-Foxcroft to Vaughan and Leona White Bowman on Nov. 6, 1931. Shirley attended Williams High School in Oakland.

She was a homemaker for many years. Shirley enjoyed going camping, being with her grandchildren, and her special passion was watching and listening to country music.

Her first husband, Jack L. Parker, passed away in 1992. She remarried years later to Hoyt B. Gray, who is also deceased.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda J. Jones of Windham, Debbie DiPietrantonio of Westbrook and Becki Bubier of Greene; one son, Bob Parker of Casco; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She will forever be missed by her family and friends.

Visiting hours were held Saturday, April 15, from 2 p.m., until 4 p.m., at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham. A graveside service was held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, April 18, at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta.
