Sheryl Mowatt

Sheryl Ann “Sherry” Mowatt, 69, of Bridgton, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Sunday, Sept., 3, 2017, at Maine Medical Center due to heart complications.

Sheryl was born Feb., 20, 1948 in Portland, daughter of Merlon and Shirley Bailey. Sheryl enjoyed attending Lake Region High School basketball games, rarely missing a game whether at home or away. She spent her time reading, crocheting, baking her infamous chocolate chip cookies, frequenting craft fairs, spending the summer swimming at Woods Pond, and spending time with her family. Sheryl looked forward to the Christmas season, setting up her snowmen and displaying her ceramic figures. Sheryl always had a soft spot for the neighborhood cat “Tigger,” and loved sharing his company.
