FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. — Seth Andrew Daley, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Bridgton, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2015. He was born October 20, 1971.

Seth Andrew Daley was a great father, brother, son and loyal friend. He is survived by his ex-wife Stacie; his two beautiful young daughters, Madison Karin (13) and Reese Kristen (15); his younger brother Ben; a stepbrother Glen Garland; and his father and stepmother Mike and Faye Daley of Highland Road, Bridgton.

He is also survived by close friends including the Williams, Peddle, Sheriff, Strempack, Maseratti, Dyson, Silvoy and Hotchkiss families. Those friends made all the difference in Seth's life. He wanted to be sure they each knew how much he appreciated their kindness and friendship.

Seth was an amazing father. He wanted both Madison and Reese to understand that he fought ALS as long as he could, and that he kept them close to his heart each day of his long battle. They gave him the strength to carry on for as long as he was able.

Dr. Jennifer Capezzuti, was the second love of Seth's life. She worked tirelessly to help Seth soldier on in his fight against ALS. Her efforts to help Seth are recognized by Seth's family and friends as admirable and loving. Seth wanted to be very clear that he always loved Jennifer and will miss her.

In high school Seth was All State/All Academic Football Team, Class President and graduated from Cheverus High School in 1990. He went on to graduate from Fairfield University in 1994. Seth loved skiing and sailing in Maine and across the world.

Seth was an accomplished pilot for the USCGA. Professionally, Seth created, and was an equal partner in his private security company, Protection and Tactical Group. Mr. Daley performed a variety of duties including: Federal Protective Service Officer, Level III Court Security Officer, Executive Protection and Tactical Armed Security Officer. Mr. Daley is a former firefighter and MRT in Connecticut, Rescue 15.

The care and compassion that Vitas offered Seth was unmatched and much appreciated by his family and friends.

The family intends to hold a private service in his honor.
