Sally Gerow

NORTH YARMOUTH — Sally D. Gerow, 86, of North Yarmouth, passed away at home on Monday, June 25, 2018, surrounded by her family.

Born in Casco, Sally was the daughter of the late Frank D. and Daisy D. Berry Shane. Sally was a lifelong resident of Maine, and her greatest passion was her family. She loved hosting family gatherings and cooking for all. Some of her hobbies included vacations at the lake, bingo, going to the fair, the Red Sox, playing cards with family, dancing and country music.

Sally leaves behind her greatest love, her children: Susan Gerow of Freeport, Linda Trebilcock of Phippsburg, Pauline Gillis of Freeport, Debra Burnell of North Yarmouth, Patricia Morrison of North Yarmouth; sons, Harrison (Butch) Gerow Jr. of Freeport, Donald Gerow of Freeport; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Harrison; and daughter, Caroline Gerow Brower.

There will be a graveside service at Murch Cemetery in Casco on Saturday, July 7 at 11 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at 74 Stone Brooke Drive, Mechanic Falls. Online condolences may be sent to www.funeralalternatives.net
