HIRAM — Sadie E. Clemons, 94, of Hiram died on Feb. 19, 2012 at the Fryeburg Health Care Center after a long illness.

She was born in Denmark on May 31, 1917, a daughter of Stephen and Etta Warren. She was raised in Brownfield and later moved to Hiram and married Roland Clemons.

Sadie was a waitress and a cook at the Hiram Creamery for many years. She also worked at a restaurant in North Conway, N.H. for several years. She enjoyed crafts such as sewing and knitting, but above all loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roland Clemons; her son, William Clemons; and several brothers and sisters.

Sadie is survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

There will be a spring graveside service at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Hiram, which will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by Watson, Neal & York Funeral Home, Cornish.
