Ryan Wilson

WINDHAM — Ryan D. Wilson, 41, died at his home on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, with his family by his side.

He was born in Westbrook on May 21, 1974, the son of Linda (Bullerwell) Pease and Payson Wilson.

Ryan grew up in Windham and graduated from Windham High School in 1993. He held many jobs, his favorites were working as a meat cutter and a school bus driver. He drove for Windham for over seven years. Ryan was the type of guy to always be there for his family and friends when they needed him. Whether it was just going deer hunting with the guys, tackling a plumbing issue, or fixing just about anything, Ryan was the guy to call. He also enjoyed camping, flying RC airplanes, and the many fishing adventures on the ocean with his grandfather. Ryan was a natural teacher, who enjoyed teaching children the joys of hunting and giving just about anyone who would listen, a random fact which he learned from his enjoyment of history.

Ryan is survived by his best friend and soul mate, Kerri; children, Cassidy Wilson of Westbrook, Madison, Matthew and McKenna Sirois of Windham; his parents, Curtis and Linda Pease Jr., of Gorham; grandmother, Marilyn Mayberry of Standish; his brother, Aaron Wilson of Sebago; his sister, Amy Pease of Lewiston; his father Payson Wilson of Standish; many aunts, uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews; and the many lives he's touched along the way.

A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham, where a period of visitation was held from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
