HOLLIS — Rusty Allen Cole Jr., 29, passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2013, in Virginia.

He was born on July 8, 1983, the son of Rusty Cole Sr. and Terry (Banks) Dubois.

Rusty attended elementary school in Hollis and completed his education at Bonny Eagle High School and Sacopee Valley High School. While in high school, he was very active in sports and enjoyed playing football and soccer.

Since his graduation from high school, Rusty has been employed at H.P. Hood in Portland, working as a shipper.

Rusty enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycling, especially on Harley-Davidsons, being in the outdoors in general, and spending time with his son, Brody, whom he cherished. He also enjoyed spending time with his dogs, Bowzer and his boxer named Layla.

Rusty was loved by all and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He will always be remembered as a great father, who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with Brody.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Amanda (Elwell) Cole; his son, Brody Cole, age six; father Rusty A. Cole Sr. and his wife Darlene of Buxton; mother Terry Dubois of Porter; brother Dylan Dubois of Porter; paternal grandmother Yvette Cole; maternal grandmother Linda Jacques; stepbrother Michael St. Cyr of Sebago; stepsister, April Reynolds of Limington; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Visiting hours were held on Wednesday, April 10, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located on the corners of Routes 202 and 4A (13 Portland Road) in Buxton (Bar Mills). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 11, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow at South Buxton (Tory Hill) Cemetery, Woodman (New) Section.
