Route 5 crash claims second victim

FRYEBURG — The operator of the motor vehicle involved in last Tuesday’s fatal crash in Fryeburg has died.
Paul Cundiff, 64, of Porter, passed away at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston on Monday from injuries sustained in the Dec. 9 crash on Route 5.
Details of this now double-fatal crash are still under investigation, according to Fryeburg Chief of Police Joshua Potvin.
The accident occurred at 11:13 a.m. A passenger, Rhonda Robblee, 47, of Brownfield was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Cundiff lost control of his silver 2001 GMC Sierra truck while traveling southbound. The pickup truck was impounded.
