Roger G. Adams Jr.

Bridgton — Roger G. Adams Jr. passed away Aug. 20, 2012 at Central Maine Medical Center with his family and Pastor Phil Reynard by his side.

Roger was born in Lowell, Mass., to Roger G. Adams Sr. and Theresa L. (Boulanger) Adams. The oldest of three sons, Roger attended Lowell area schools before graduating from Lowell Vocation School in 1969. On Feb. 7, 1970 he married Cheryl Anne (Baker) in W. Roxbury, Mass. In the early 80s Roger and Cheryl moved to Townsend, Mass. before moving to Bridgton, Maine in 1991. He was involved with boy scouts and baseball for both of his sons in their early years.

He is survived by his mother of Nashua, N.H., Theresa Adams; his wife of 42 years, Cheryl Adams of Bridgton; his daughter Kerrie Chambers of Fitchburg, Mass.; his son Craig Adams and his wife Britt of Ooltewah, Tenn.; and son Kevin Adams of Bridgton. He also leaves behind the one thing he cared most about, his five grandchildren: Erica and Erin Chambers, Dru Adams, and Alexandria and Conner Adams.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the ICU Nurses at Central Maine Medical Center and Dr. Bruce Condit and Dr. Daniel Lacerte for their professionalism and  compassion.

Visiting hours will be held 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., followed by a 2 p.m. funeral service on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home, 165 Quaker Ridge Rd., Casco.
