Robert P. Shackley, 67, of Bridgton, passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Robert was born in Bridgton on Sept. 28, 1949, a son of Edward L. and Madelyn (Trumble) Shackley. He attended local schools and graduated from Bridgton High School.

He worked for the Town of Bridgton for over 40 years in the Public Works Department as a truck driver.

An avid outdoorsman, Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycling.

He is survived by two brothers, Lawrence E. Shackley of Bridgton and Leon E. Shackley of Rockland; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
