NAPLES — Robert Neault, 56, of Naples passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Robert was born in Lowell, Mass. and was the fifth of 11 children.  He joined the United States Army at age 17 and served for three years before earning his Juris Doctorate.  He was an attorney with his own practice in Naples.

He was instrumental in the community, having served on the Naples Planning Board, aiding in the establishment of the Singer Center, and heading the Causeway Revitalization Committee.  Robert was also a founding member of the Naples/Casco Before and After Care Program and was vice president of Crosswalk Community Outreach.  Bob was an active member of St. Joseph Parish in Bridgton, where he served as a lector and former president of the Parish Council.

He was affectionately called the “King of Naples” by his family because of all his community service.

He is survived by his wife Anne; their three children Liam, Katie and Dan; and his father Ron of Warrenton, Va.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30 at Hall Funeral Home in Casco. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Bridgton.
