Robert Capra

Robert “Cappy” John Capra, 77, of Bridgton, and formerly of Quincy, Mass., passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, in Auburn.

Cappy was born in Boston on Feb. 14, 1938, to Henry and Celeste Capra.

He is survived by his daughters, Gina M. Capra of Somerville, Mass., Taryn M. Capra of Portland, Robin (Clifford) Jordan of Weymouth, Mass., Dawn (Clifford) McNair of Fla., and Karen (Clifford) Stenstrom of Hanson, Mass.

Other surviving family members include his sister, Jean Powers of Stuart, Fla., formerly of Brockton, Mass.; his brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Ava Capra of Londonderry, N.H.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Those who were fortunate enough to know him will remember Cappy's beautiful, gentle, kind and creative soul. He adored his children, generously cared for others in need, and had a great love for animals. Cappy was playful, imaginative and youthful — even into his old age. He will be forever loved and missed.
