Raymond C. Freeman

OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Raymond C. Freeman, 38, passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2018. He was born on March 5, 1979, to Delsie Cartonio-Reny and Dana Freeman Sr. He was raised in Saco and graduated from Thornton Academy in 1998.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, drawing, woodworking and making elaborate birdhouses. He also enjoyed collecting stamps and old movies, and loved spending time with his beloved daughter, Savannah. He worked as a construction worker installing tile flooring and home improvements.

Raymond was predeceased by his father, Dana Freeman Sr.; and grandfather, Ralph A. Cartonio.

He is survived by his mother, Delsie Cartonio-Reny and her husband, Ted Reny of Saco; daughter, Savannah Freeman of Saco; brother, Dana Freeman Jr. and his wife, Lisa; nephew, AJ; and a niece, Mariah Freeman; all of Bridgton; grandmother, Marguerite Cartonio of Portland; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, Kim and many friends. Raymond will be deeply missed by all.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
