Amy Angelone

Amy Angelone is often the first to volunteer to help at indoor track practices and meets.

“She was very successful in the high jump this season. Amy improved in her events throughout the year,” LR Coach Mark Snow said. “My main reason for my nominating her (as Player of the Week) is for her sportsmanship. She is a great role model for the younger athletes by demonstrating how to enjoy every moment and be supportive of everyone.”

In recognition of her strong work ethic, determination, commitment and good sportsmanship, Amy is this week’s Boosters and Hancock Lumber “Player of the Week.” Each week, a Lake Region athlete is recognized for his/her dedication (does more than what is asked), work ethic, coachability and academic good standing. Recipients receive a specially-designed T-shirt, sponsored by Hancock Lumber.
