Player of the Week: Nate Hill

FRYEBURG — In a season that saw the Raider football team win their first game and then lose their next eight, it would be easy to lose interest and simply go through the motions, especially late in the fall.

But, senior Fryeburg Academy lineman Nate Hill is one never to give up or not give his best effort.

“Nate has been an athlete, who has stayed focused all season on what we have needed to do as a team,” Fryeburg Academy head football coach David Turner said. “He didn’t let any situation affect his play in practice or in games.”

In recognition of his strong work ethic, determination, commitment and good sportsmanship, Nate is this week’s Raider Boosters Club “Player of the Week.” Each week, a Fryeburg Academy athlete is recognized for his/her dedication (does more than what is asked), work ethic, coachability and academic good standing. Recipients receive a specially-designed t-shirt, sponsored by the Raiders Boosters Club.
