Player of the Week: Magnus Holm

SP magnus holmsMagnus Holm has given the Lake Region varsity boys’ soccer team a definite shot in the arm this fall.

“Magnus has been a great addition to the team. He is always upbeat and positive. As an AFS student, Magnus has brought some new blood to the team and has blended right in,” Laker Coach Mike Chaine said. “Magnus’s soccer skills have been a welcomed addition to the midfield and his outside shooting has made him a threat to any team we face. He scored a goal against Wells on a direct kick from farther than half field.”

In recognition of his strong work ethic, determination, commitment and good sportsmanship, Magnus is this week’s Boosters and Hancock Lumber “Player of the Week.” Each week, a Lake Region athlete is recognized for his/her dedication (does more than what is asked), work ethic, coachability and academic good standing. Recipients receive a specially-designed t-shirt, sponsored by Hancock Lumber.
