Elizabeth Schreiber completed a great indoor track & field season racking up weekly personal records in the jumping events.

“She went from an average long jumper and novice triple jumper to a scorer and a state meet threat in the triple jump,” Lake Region Coach Mark Snow said. “She scored the second most points in our last regular season meet. Elizabeth was very focused at practice and often asked for extra drills for her jumping events. She is well-liked by her peers and coaches and she is very supportive of her teammates.”

In recognition of her strong work ethic, determination, commitment and good sportsmanship, Elizabeth is this week’s Boosters and Hancock Lumber “Player of the Week.” Each week, a Lake Region athlete is recognized for his/her dedication (does more than what is asked), work ethic, coachability and academic good standing. Recipients receive a specially-designed t-shirt, sponsored by Hancock Lumber.
