Phyllis Vigeant

Phyllis A. Vigeant, 86, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021.

Phyllis was born in Marlboro, Mass., the eldest child of Irene (Delorme) and Philip Bergeron. She married her childhood sweetheart, Ralph Vigeant in 1955, and after a year in Germany, settled in Marlboro where they raised their seven children. 

Phyllis enjoyed countless times at the lake house on Moose Pond in Denmark, either with others or alone to soak in the serenity. A devout Catholic parishioner, during the summers she attended St. Joseph Church. She sang like an angel and more than anything loved singing around a piano with family.

She was an extremely caring and nurturing parent. Throughout her life, she took great joy in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Phyllis is survived by her loving children, Michelle Bouffard-Gebo, Phillip Vigeant, Noella Vigeant, Lisa Anderson, Nicole Vigeant, Paulette Heim; 18 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. 

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ralph; and her devoted daughter, Jeanne Gough.
