Phyllis A. Penek

WEST BALDWIN — Phyllis A. Penek, 91, of West Baldwin, died on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at a Portland hospital.

Born in Standish, she was the daughter of William V. and Maud F. Smith Wescott. She attended Standish schools and was a homemaker. Mrs. Penek was an outdoorswoman and also enjoyed working with stained glass and whittling. She and her husband, Donald, had traveled extensively throughout the country for many years.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Merrill Penek; and by her eight siblings.

Surviving are her husband, Donald T. Flint Jr. of West Baldwin; her children, Catharine Burt, Dennis Penek, Gregory Penek and Stephanie Penek; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There were no visiting hours. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham. Interment will be in West Baldwin Cemetery. Online condolences may left at www.dolbyfuneralchapels.com
