Patrick Zulick Sr.

ENGLEWOOD, FLA. — Patrick William Zulick Sr., 59, of Englewood, Florida, passed peacefully in his home on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

He was born on August 29, 1957, in Glendale, California. He was a graduate of Robert E. Fitch Senior High School in Groton, Connecticut, and later moved to Maine to start his life.

Patrick was in law enforcement for 20 years, and worked with both the Cumberland County Sheriff's Depart-ment and the Bridgton Police Depart-ment. Before becoming ill, he worked for Home Depot where he was known for all of his Homer Awards.

When not working and helping others, you could find Patrick tinkering, cutting the grass, visiting the casino, or watching the races. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

Patrick is survived by his wife of five years, Melissa Zulick, of Englewood, Fla; son Patrick Zulick of Hiram; daughter Sherri Zulick and her son Landon of Limington; stepdaughter Diane Mitchell and her son Ryan, of Bridgton; stepdaughter Dana Wiswell and her daughters Logan and Leeann of Bridgton; stepson Chandler Smith and his daughter Eleacea of Englewood, Fla; and stepdaughter Chelsea Smith of Englewood, Fla.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
