NAPLES — Patricia A. Rogers, 71, of Naples passed away on Friday, Aug. 24, 2012 at the Country Village Assisted Living Center in Casco.

She was born on May 21, 1941 in Attleboro, Mass., a daughter of Howard Thurber and Irene Laplante. Pat was a devoted mother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a big heart with a passion to help people and serve her community.

In the past, Pat was a volunteer at the Naples Public Library, served on the SAD 61 School Board and was a servant at her local church. Along with her late husband, Donald C. Rogers, she owned and operated Rogers East Shore Cottages in Naples. Donald passed away in 1998. Pat was a wonderful person who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are her daughter, Doreen Bortz of Rifton, Vt.; Scott Gilbert, Greg Rogers and Dana Rogers, all of Naples.

At her request, funeral services will be private.
