NAPLES — Pamila Jean Tift, 64, of Naples passed away peacefully Monday morning, Dec. 6, 2010 with her family by her side, after a long illness.

She was born in Mount Kisco, N.Y., on Jan. 14, 1946, the daughter of Floyd and Emma Dixon.

She enjoyed knitting, cooking, genealogy, spending time with family and friends and especially her cats.

Surviving are her brother, Floyd Dixon of Apex N.C.; her daughter, Maria Allen of Naples; son, James Tift of Harrison; daughter, Theresa Clarke of Sebago; daughter, Sheila Krauss of New Gloucester; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will hold a private celebration of life ceremony at a future date.
