Norman D. Lamb, 73

GORHAM — Norman Dale Lamb, 73, died peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 in Windham.

He was born in Windham on May 5, 1944, the son of Elizabeth Lamb. Norman was a graduate of Gorham High School. He was a member of the Boy Scouts, the Future Farmers of America, and was a lifelong farmer. Norman had a love for antiques, and enjoyed talking with people. He also had an amazing sense of humor, and took pleasure in playing friendly pranks and jokes on others.

He is survived by his brother, Kenneth Sayward of Raymond; sisters, Penelope Loura of Gorham, Claudia Sullivan of Port Richie, Fla. and Susan Howard; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, Norman was predeceased by his stepfather, Harvey Sayward; and brothers, Lyman and Keith Sayward.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at the Windham Chapel of Dolby, Blais, & Segee, 434 River Road, Windham. There was celebration of life following the service at the White Rock Grange Hall/Community Center, Wilson Road, Gorham.
