Norma L. Davidson

SCARBOROUGH — Norma L. Davidson, 79, of Auburn, died late Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012 at the Gosnell Hospice House, following a brief illness, with her family by her side.

She was born in Freeport, May 15, 1932, the daughter of Norman and Christine (Small) Ray. Later her family moved to Auburn, where Norma graduated from Edward Little High School in 1952. Following school, she began her employment in the local shoe industry and later worked for a number of years at the former Paragon Glass in Lewiston.

She loved to cook and she also enjoyed traveling. Norma’s favorite travels were traveling all around New England.

Survivors include her husband Richard, of Auburn, whom she married June 1, 1957; three sons, Derek Davidson of Lewiston, Douglas Davidson of West Baldwin and Richard D. Davidson of Naples, Fla.; and two grandsons.

Per Norma’s request, there will be no services.
