Noreen Robblee

PORTLAND — Noreen Eva Robblee, 71, of Tamworth, N.H., formerly of Fryeburg, died early Saturday morning, Jan. 19, 2019, at the Maine Medical Center in Portland.

She was born on Nov. 4, 1947, in North Conway, N.H., a daughter of Perley J. and Eva E. (Bryant) Gordon. She attended schools in northern Maine and settled in Fryeburg as a young woman to raise her family. Noreen worked in housekeeping and later as a manager within that occupation for North Conway area hotels and resorts for many years.

She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Center Conway, enjoyed crocheting, the company of her grandchildren, and especially fishing on Rocky Branch with her family.

Noreen is survived by her children, Raymond Robblee of Fryeburg, Ann Brown of Clermont, Fla., Bill Robblee of Brownfield and Richard Robblee of Tamworth, N.H.; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Robblee of Holden; her ex-husband and friend, Al Robblee of Fryeburg; nieces, nephews, and many church friends and neighbors.

A memorial service for Noreen was held on Friday, Jan. 25, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1257 East Main Street, Center Conway, N.H.
