Ninth District Court – June 11 through 17, 2010

The following matters were taken up in Ninth District Court in Bridgton from June 11 through 17, 2010:

John Berg III, 27, of Fryeburg, was found guilty of unlawful possession of a Scheduled drug on Feb. 27, 2010 in Fryeburg and was fined $400. As the result of a plea agreement, Berg had a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 28, 2010 in Fryeburg dismissed, in exchange for his guilty plea to the charge listed above.

Michael V. Bonfigito, 37, of Wolfeboro, N.H., had charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license on April 17, 2010 in Fryeburg dismissed for unspecified reasons.

George E. Bradley, 41, of Farmington, N.H., was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while his driver’s license was suspended or revoked on May 24, 2009 in Fryeburg and was fined $500.

Donald A. Butters, 54, of Center Conway, N.H., was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant on Jan. 16, 2010 in Fryeburg and was fined $500 and had his driver’s license suspended for 90 days.

Adam Chiaccio, 21, of Fryeburg, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while his driver’s license was suspended or revoked on March 14, 2009 in Fryeburg and was fined $500.

Ryan Colomb, 24, of Buxton, was found guilty of assault on Sept. 16, 2009 in Porter and was fined $300.

Alysia Combies, 44, of Conway, N.H., was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant on Jan. 24, 2010 in Fryeburg and was fined $600 and had her driver’s license suspended for 90 days. As the result of a plea agreement, Combies had a charge of speeding 30 miles per hour or more over the posted speed limit on Jan. 29, 2010 in Fryeburg dismissed, in exchange for her guilty plea to the charge listed above.

Brandon A. Crockett, 26, of Falmouth, paid a $100 fine by waiver for operating an unregistered all-terrain vehicle on April 4, 2010 in Casco.

Jane Davis, 58, of Lovell, had a charge of failing to make an oral or written accident report on April 26, 2010 in Lovell filed with $200 court costs assessed.

Leah A. Doyle, 24, of Hiram, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle after habitual motor vehicle offender revocation on Sept. 12, 2009 in Fryeburg and was sentenced to serve 30 days in the Oxford County Jail, with sentence stayed until Sept. 1, 2010, and was fined $500.

William Edwards, 19, of Brownfield, defaulted, or failed to appear in court, for being a minor possessing liquor on April 15, 2010 in Fryeburg and was fined $200.

William Stephan Effner, 47, of Sweden, had a charge of possession of marijuana on Jan. 16, 2010 in Fryeburg dismissed.

Ira F. Ela, 34, of Center Conway, N.H., was found guilty of violation of rules (taking smelts in closed waters) on April 4, 2010 in Lovell and was fined $100.

John C. Hobbs, 46, of Billerica, Mass., was found guilty of permitting the operation of a watercraft by another on May 31, 2010 in Bridgton and was fined $100.

Glenn R. Jette, 47, of Fryeburg, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant on Dec. 19, 2009 in Fryeburg and was sentenced to serve 96 hours in the Androscoggin County Jail, with sentence stayed until Aug. 6, 2010, was fined $500 and had his driver’s license suspended for 90 days.

Charles A. Luca, 69, of Center Conway, N.H., had charges of failure to register a motor vehicle and failing to obtain a driver’s license on April 30, 2010 in Fryeburg filed with $375 court costs assessed.

Steven Mendez, 43, of Brownfield, was found guilty of burning prohibited material on March 19, 2010 in Brownfield and was fined $100.

Cindy Morel, 42, of Brownfield, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while his driver’s license was suspended or revoked on March 24, 2010 in Brownfield and was fined $250.

Thomas P. Rose, 38, of Lovell, was found guilty of unlawful use of a driver’s license on March 2, 2010 in Fryeburg and was fined $100.

Angela Sawyer, 29, of Sanford, was found guilty of unsworn falsification on Nov. 27, 2009 in Porter and was fined $200.

Lee S. Scarlett, 43, of Bridgton, was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle while his driver’s license was suspended or revoked on Aug. 1, 2009 in Bridgton and was fined $500.

Kevin Skoglund, 32, of Bridgton, paid a $150 fine by waiver for exceeding the daily bag limit of smelts in Mud Brook on April 2, 2010 in Harrison.

Kenneth C. Stinchfield, 41, of Hiram, was found guilty of disorderly conduct by fighting on Feb. 14, 2010 in Hiram and was fined $100.

Tyler Thurston, 21, of Bridgton, was found guilty of failure to register a motor vehicle on Feb. 9, 2010 in Fryeburg and was fined $50.

Michael J. Trioli, 57, of Maynard, Mass., paid a $100 fine by waiver for permitting the operation of a watercraft by another on May 29, 2010 in Bridgton.

Stephen C. Warren, 21, of Fryeburg, defaulted, or failed to appear in court, for possession of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 9, 2010 in Fryeburg and was fined $300.
