Nicholas C. Tracy

BALDWIN — Nicholas Christopher Tracy, 29, of the Baldwin died unexpectedly on Jan. 27, 2012.

Nick was born in Portland on March 31, 1982, the son of Lesley Tracy and the late James Tracy. He attended school in Bangor and South Portland, as well as New England Culinary Institute in Burlington, Vt.

Nick worked as a chef in the Portland area and later became a construction worker. He loved sports and was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. He also loved his animals, “Pac” and “Deisel.” Above all, Nick loved his family and was a devoted dad.

Surviving are his fiancée, Amanda Chute and their three children Alexis, Jordan and Brody all of Baldwin; his mother, Lesley Tracy; sister Lindsay Tracy of Biddeford; brother Dustin DiBiase of Peaks Island; several nieces and nephews; his grandparents, Merton and Janet Wright of Glenburn and William and Jennifer Ross of Florida; as well as his large extended family.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Thursday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. at the North Baldwin Baptist Church on Cram Road in North Baldwin. Pastor Will Kindred will officiate.
