NAPLES — Naples Public Library has hired Christine Powers as Library Director. She replaces Dale Jandreau, who has accepted the position of director of the Skowhegan Free Public Library.

Ms. Powers served as children’s and young adults librarian from 1999-2008. She is an Apple-certified technician, and is a partner and video designer at Mac Idea of the Day. She served eight years as Tech Lead and MLTI District Coordinator for SAD 61. Ms. Powers has been a member of the Naples Board of Selectmen since 2002.

NPL welcomes Ms. Powers back to the Naples Public Library family at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 23.
