Nathalie Corrigan

SHELBURNE, N.H. — Nathalie Corrigan, of Shelburne, N.H. and originally from Westbrook, passed away on Aug. 28, 2010.

Born April 14, 1921, to Percy and Eva Laidlaw Conant, Nathalie grew up on her family’s farm on Conant Street, and was a direct descendent of the first Westbrook settlers. The 1768 homestead is still occupied by her surviving sister, Eleanor Conant Saunders.

She graduated from Westbrook High School and met her husband, Harry Corrigan, when he boarded at the family home while working for the Portland Pipe Line.

Nathalie was the mother of four children, including Michael T. Corrigan, formerly of Bridgton and presently of Lewiston, and a singer of considerable local reputation.

She was predeceased by her parents; and her sister, Esther Conant Smith of Greely, Colo.
