Muriel I. Adams

FRYEBURG — Muriel I. Adams, 83, of Fryeburg, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at Fryeburg Health Care Center.

She was born in Parsonsfield on June 11, 1929. She was the daughter of Willis and Gladys McDaniels Thomes and attended local schools. She was a former member of Fryeburg Historical Society.

She was predeceased by her husband, William R. Adams Sr.; and two sons, Paul and Tim Adams.

She is survived by a son, William R. Adams, Jr. of Yarmouth; three daughters, Gertrude P. Webber of Limerick, Ruth E. Conley of Windham and Paula I. Adams of Saco; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

At Muriel’s request, there will be no public funeral services. A private graveside service will be held in the spring. Arrangements are made with Wood Funeral Home, Fryeburg.
