Maine State Police say a missing elderly man from Maryland, who has children in Raymond and Harrison, could be headed to Maine.

Timothy John Fowler, 69, walked away from an adult day care center in Largo, Md. April 8. Fowler grew up in Portland, has three adult children in Maine and talked often about returning to the state.

Fowler suffers from Alzheimer's, and had no money or a driver's license and doesn’t own a vehicle. But family members think he may have found transportation to Maine. Fowler was born and raised in Portland, has children in Raymond and Harrison, and at one time worked at the Brunswick Naval Air Station and at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.

Fowler is 5'10", weighs 160 pounds, is bald with a long gray beard and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and a black baseball cap.

Anyone who may have had any contact with Fowler should call Maine State Police in Gray at 657-3030.
